# ClassEve — full product reference

> ClassEve builds resilient, privacy-first software and developer tools. Wherever it can, the software runs on your own device instead of a server, and every product is held to a strict, documented engineering standard. The catalog spans a computer-operating desktop assistant, on-device and cloud voice-to-text, live speech translation, a free document reader, and free open-source engines for AI agents and local model inference.

This file is the complete, self-contained reference to everything ClassEve makes. It is written for both people and AI assistants: read it top to bottom and you have the full picture — no crawling required. Everything here is public and current.

ClassEve (also written CLASSEVE) is an independent software company. Its guiding idea is "research that becomes working software": ideas are proven in the open, and only what clears a documented engineering bar is called production-ready.

## How to read our status labels

Not everything here is at the same stage, and we label each product honestly.

- **Production** — Operates correctly under sustained real-world use. The main action is obvious in the first minute, failure recovery is built in, and platform behavior is measured rather than assumed.
- **Early access** — A working product you can use now, still being widened to more platforms or opened to more people. Real and usable; not yet at full public-launch scale.
- **Pre-launch** — Not open to the public yet. You can join a waitlist; there is no download.
- **Research** — A direction that works but still has unsolved edge cases. We publish the work and label exactly where it stands.
- **Public utility** — Free, source or download available. "Public" means available; it does not by itself mean production-hardened or safe as a security boundary. Each one states its own limits.

Some things we never ship, by policy, not schedule: dark patterns, manufactured urgency, fake scarcity, tracking-heavy interfaces, or marketing with no working system underneath.

# REX — the flagship

**What it is.** REX is a desktop application that operates your Windows computer for you. You ask for something — out loud or by typing — and REX opens your apps, works through the steps, and gets it done on your own machine.

**What it does.**
- **Just ask.** Say what you want in plain words, spoken or typed. No syntax, no menus, no setup ritual.
- **It uses your real apps.** REX works your programs the way you would — moving between them, clicking, typing — precisely, not by fumbling around.
- **It finishes long jobs.** The multi-step tasks you keep putting off, carried out start to finish, checking its own work along the way.
- **It's a conversation.** Speak and it answers. Ask a follow-up mid-task. It's a dialogue, not a form.
- **It's honest when stuck.** If REX can't do something, it stops and tells you. It won't fake a result or blindly repeat a step that isn't working.
- **It's yours, on your machine.** REX is a real app on your PC that runs on the AI model you choose — swap it whenever you like.

**Built in.** Two ClassEve tools are native to REX, not add-ons:
- *Your keys stay sealed* — REX can act in your accounts and tools without ever holding your real passwords or keys (powered by Credential Airlock).
- *Understands big codebases* — point REX at a large project and it grasps it by meaning, not just text, so it changes the right thing (powered by Context Zero).

# Lven Instant — on-device voice-to-text

**What it is.** Lven Instant is a voice-to-text app that turns your speech into text in real time, inside whatever app you have open. Press a hotkey or tap the floating bubble, speak, and the text appears at your cursor. On every shipped platform, the transcription runs entirely on your device — your microphone audio never leaves your machine.

**What it does.**
- **On-device transcription.** On Windows, Linux, and Android, every word is converted to text locally on your machine. No microphone audio crosses the network.
- **Floating bubble + global hotkey.** An unobtrusive bubble lives at the edge of your screen, callable from any app. Tap or press the hotkey, speak, release — the text lands at your cursor.
- **Types into other apps for you.** The transcript is inserted into the app you were using, with a direct-insert path where the app supports it and a controlled paste fallback where it doesn't.
- **Works offline for transcription.** The engine transcribes without a connection. The app still needs the network occasionally to download or repair its speech model and to check your subscription.
- **Account traffic is separate from your voice.** After setup, the app contacts our service only for account and subscription checks. Those requests never contain microphone audio or transcript text.

**Why it exists.** Cloud transcription usually forces a trade between accuracy and privacy. Lven Instant ends that trade: the on-device model is instant — even on a five-year-old laptop — and matches cloud-grade accuracy for everyday speech, with no upload and no round trip. There is no scenario in which someone compromising our servers can read what you dictated, because we never had it.

Dictation is unlimited on a paid plan — no daily caps, no per-minute counter.

**Privacy.** Microphone audio is processed in-process, transcribed locally, and discarded. Transcript history stays on your device. The account service sees entitlement metadata only, never audio or transcript text.

**Common questions.**
- *Does it work offline?* Transcription is on-device on Windows, Linux, and Android. The app still needs network access to download or repair the speech model and to validate your account periodically. It's not an unlimited air-gapped licence.
- *Is my voice uploaded?* No. On the shipped platforms, audio never leaves your machine. (The separate Lven Cloud product is server-side by design.)
- *Instant vs Cloud?* Instant runs the model on your device for privacy and speed. Cloud runs it on a server for maximum accuracy. Separate products, separate subscriptions.

# Lven Cloud — server-side voice-to-text

**What it is.** Lven Cloud is the server-side build of Lven: the same floating bubble and global hotkey, with transcription handled by a high-accuracy cloud engine. Hold the hotkey, speak, and polished text lands at your cursor in well under a second — on any hardware, including machines too light to run the on-device model.

**What it does.**
- **Server-side accuracy.** Transcription runs on a dedicated cloud engine tuned for accuracy, returning polished text in well under a second — consistent top-tier results on any device.
- **Same bubble and hotkey as Lven Instant**, callable from any app.
- **No audio or transcript retention.** Audio is streamed over an encrypted connection, transcribed in real time, and discarded on the spot. The text is delivered to your device only; ClassEve stores no audio and no transcript text on its servers.
- **Cross-platform, one subscription.** Windows, Linux, and Android today; macOS and iPhone on the way. One Cloud subscription covers every platform. No per-device fees.

**Why it exists.** Some people want the most accurate transcription available on any device, or run hardware that can't host the on-device model. Instant (private) and Cloud (most accurate) are two equal paths to the same outcome — speak, and text appears. Choose privacy-first or accuracy-first; the experience is identical.

# earslate — live speech translation

**What it is.** earslate is a free Android app that translates nearby speech in real time and plays the translation into your earbuds, so you can follow a conversation in a language you don't speak. Walk into a room where nobody speaks your language and hear them as if they did.

**What it does.**
- **Live translation.** Start a session and hear ambient speech translated into your chosen language while the other person is still talking — live latency on a normal mobile connection.
- **One-tap start.** A Quick Settings tile starts a session from the lock screen or any app. One tap to listen, one tap to stop.
- **Broad language coverage.** Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi, Arabic, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Tamil, Telugu, and more, depending on the selected provider.
- **Choose your provider.** Use Automatic for reliability, or pin Gemini or OpenAI in Settings.
- **Works with the earbuds you own.** Any Bluetooth or wired earbuds Android recognizes.

**How the free, no-setup model works.** There is no ClassEve account, no subscription, and no API-key setup. When you start a session, a small ClassEve broker issues a short-lived credential; your phone then streams audio **directly** to the chosen provider (Gemini or OpenAI) and plays back the translation. ClassEve never receives your audio or transcripts.

# Folio PDF — free document reader

**What it is.** Folio PDF is a free, ad-free document reader for Android. It opens many document types in one app, entirely offline, with no account and no subscription.

**What it does.**
- Opens **PDF, Word (.docx, .rtf), spreadsheets (.xlsx, .csv), slide outlines (.pptx), Markdown, plain text, JSON, and XML**.
- **Offline by construction.** The app does not request internet permission, so it physically cannot send your files anywhere. Rendering happens entirely on your phone.
- **No account, no ads, no in-app purchases.** Open the app, pick a file, read.

# Context Zero Engine — code intelligence for AI agents

**What it is.** Context Zero Engine is a free, self-hosted code-intelligence engine for AI agents. It indexes a repository into a code graph and serves targeted context — symbols, callers, effects, contracts, similar code, and blast radius — over the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and HTTP, so an agent stops reading files one at a time.

**What it does.**
- **Understands structure, not just text.** It builds a real graph of symbols, calls, effects, and contracts, so it can answer questions like "what breaks if I change this?" and "which functions have side effects?" — not just where a string appears.
- **Cuts tokens for AI coding agents.** Instead of opening dozens of files, an agent makes a few MCP calls that return only what's relevant. In a measured run across five analysis tasks it cut tokens from about 115,000 to 22,000 and replaced 65 file-reading calls with six.
- **Speaks MCP.** Thirteen analysis engines exposed through sixty-one MCP tools, usable by any MCP-capable agent, including Claude Code.
- **Fifteen languages.** TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, C, C++, CUDA, Go, Rust, Java, C#, Ruby, Kotlin, Swift, PHP, and Bash.

# RAI — CPU-only LLM inference in Rust

**What it is.** RAI is a free, open-source LLM inference engine written in pure Rust that runs entirely on the CPU. It includes 4-bit quantized kernels, its own `.raimodel` format, speculative decoding, and a local HTTP and MCP server.

**What it does.**
- **Runs language models with no GPU.** Inference on a standard x86-64 CPU with no graphics card, using AVX2-oriented quantized kernels.
- **No heavy runtime.** No CUDA, ROCm, Metal, PyTorch, or GGML at runtime, and no Python dependency — a self-contained Rust workspace.
- **Local serving.** Speculative decoding and a local HTTP/MCP server for on-machine use.

**Platforms & availability.** Builds and runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS (x86-64 with AVX2, FMA, F16C for the optimized paths). Free and open source under Apache-2.0.

**Honest note.** RAI is a research-oriented, independent implementation focused on CPU-only quantized inference. It is not a drop-in replacement for mature projects like llama.cpp.

# Credential Airlock — a credential proxy for AI agents

**What it is.** Credential Airlock is an experimental, self-hosted credential proxy for AI agents. The agent sees placeholder keys; a deny-by-default local proxy injects the real credential only for allow-listed hosts, audits the traffic routed through it, and seals secrets at rest with the Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI).

**What it does.**
- **Keeps real keys out of the agent.** For a cooperative client, the real value stays out of ordinary prompts and configuration because the proxy injects it later.
- **Deny-by-default egress with an audit log** for traffic that goes through the proxy.
- **Sealed vault at rest** (DPAPI on Windows, with a documented hardware-TPM upgrade path). Self-hosted — your keys never touch ClassEve servers.

**Honest note (important).** This is a research preview that reduces *accidental* credential exposure for cooperative agents. It is **not** an OS-level network sandbox and does **not** contain a malicious or fully compromised process running as the same user. A hard guarantee would require separate restricted OS identities, ACL-isolated vault access, and enforced egress controls, which are not complete in this release.

More than one account above is ClassEve's, deliberately: an organization for public open-source work, and separate accounts for everything else. A name appearing more than once in this list is expected. A name that is not in this list is not ours.

**Product source is not public.** REX, Lven Instant, Lven Cloud, earslate, and Folio PDF are closed-source: their repositories are private and there is no public mirror. If you cannot find a public repository for a ClassEve product, that is expected and correct — it does not mean you are looking at the wrong account.
