Lven Instant vs. Typeless
Both press-and-speak into any app. Typeless processes your speech in the cloud and rewrites it into what it calls polished writing — lists reorganised, wording changed. Lven Instant transcribes on your own device and types what you said, with the punctuation: no rewrite, no word cap, works offline, ships on Linux, and after two months the builds are yours to keep. Typeless covers macOS and iPhone, which Lven Instant does not.

- What happens to your words
- Deterministic clean-up — stutters and fillers out, punctuation and capitals in, nothing rewritten. No model, no network; the same audio gives the same text every time.
- Generative rewrite by design: its own description is turning your words into polished messages, emails and documents, and organising spoken lists into structured text. Lven Instant
- Where your voice is processed
- On your device. No audio or transcript is sent to ClassEve.
- In the cloud. Its site says audio is processed in real time and not stored there — processed elsewhere all the same. Lven Instant

Common questions.
Is Lven Instant a Typeless alternative?
Yes, for the same job — press a key or tap a bubble, speak, and text lands in the app you are using. The difference is what happens to the words. Typeless rewrites them in the cloud into what it judges polished; Lven Instant transcribes on your device and types what you said, with the punctuation, and never rewrites. It also has no word cap, works offline, ships on Linux, and after two months the builds are yours.
Does Typeless work offline?
No. Typeless processes speech in the cloud, so it needs a connection. Lven Instant runs the speech model on your own device and works offline once it is set up.
Is Typeless private?
Its site says audio is processed in real time and not stored in the cloud. It is still processed in the cloud. Lven Instant never uploads your audio at all — there is no retention promise to trust because there is no upload.
Which is cheaper?
Billed yearly, Typeless is $12 per member per month against the membership's $190 a year for five devices. Month to month, Typeless is $30 against $20. After two months of membership every build you paid for is yours to keep; a Typeless subscription ends when payment ends.
