A real job is not one command. REX plans the steps, checks its own work as it goes, and keeps going — pausing for confirmation where a decision is yours to make.

Redirect it mid-task. Ask what it is doing, change your mind, add a constraint — by voice or text, while the work is running.
Stops when it cannot verify
REX reports a blocked step instead of claiming success. An agent that lies about finishing is worse than one that stops, and this is enforced in the product rather than left to the model.

Credentials stay out of prompts
Credential Airlock lets cooperative tools use placeholders while a local proxy injects credentials into approved requests. It reduces accidental exposure; it is not a hard isolation boundary against a malicious process running as the same OS user.
